Fancy Nancy (The Pumpkin)

Alivia's homework assignment was to dress a pumpkin as one of her favorite story book characters. So Fancy Nancy it was! Pretty good - don't you think?

Oh, and it was also 'dress crazy' day in case you were wondering.

Limo Ride

Alivia won a Hummer Limo ride at school for selling ALOT of cookie dough. She would like to personally thank her dad who sold most of the cookie dough at his work. :) The limo didn't just take her around the block. Oh no, it took her to SONIC and she ordered a COKE all on her own. I think she was more excited about the Coke than the limo. Congrats Livo!

My Little Austin

Austin has been cracking me up lately. Seriously making me laugh out loud. This evening as I was trying to turn out onto our very busy Hwy 380, Austin says "Is this a race or something?". So cute. With all the cars and lights whizzing by I could see how it did actually look like a race.

The other day I was getting him out of the car and putting some of my purse junk in his backpack . He says "Mom, that is actually my backpack. Did you know that?". Lately he likes to be like his big sister and walk around with his backpack on his back pretending he is on the way to school. I need to get a picture of that.

Last one (for now)... he was handing me his half eaten mint from Chick-fil-a the other day and says "I don't like mints, but I like cupcakes."

I just love him to pieces.

Alivia's First Field Trip

Alivia went on her very first field trip today! Alivia's class along with another kindergarten class got to walk to the local fire station. I made arrangements to have Austin play at a friends house so I could go and take pictures. Alivia had a great time and was really impressed by the firemen. She got to go inside an ambulance, hold a hose shooting water, and see a fireman decked out in his full gear.

Pumpkin Patch

You would never tell from these pictures that we were miserable the entire 15 minutes that we were at the pumpkin patch. :) We were hot, it was crowded, and we got chased by GIANT bees the entire time.
