We love living so close to Alivia & Austin's cousins. They have the best time together. Pool party!!! 

VBS 2010

We had the best time helping out with VBS this year. Aaron taught Alivia's class and I did the crafts. It was a crazy four days! We ended the week with our church group going to the Roughriders Baseball game. Round Up!

Growing Up

Alivia got her ears pierced!!! For the past year Liv and her best friend Lexi have been talking about getting their ears pierced together when they turn five. Well they are now five so off we went to the store of pain. If she wasn't so persistent then I probably would have waited until she was 10 or maybe 15 (wishful thinking).

Lexi bravely volunteered to go first. Mistake #1: Alivia stuck around to watch Lexi. Not a good idea. She saw the pain and tears that came oh so quickly. We told Liv that Lexi was crying because her mom accidentally stepped on her foot. She believed us.

30 minutes later... Liv finally got in the chair. By the end of it I was on the ground with Liv in my lap and the  two sweet girls on each side of Liv waiting patiently for her to be still so they could put holes in her precious ears. It wasn't pretty (as you can see in the last picture below) but she loves her big girl earrings now. The tears really did only last for about two minutes and then the girls were all smiles.
